عقب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، بنيامين نتنياهو، على خطاب الرئيس محمود عباس أمام مجلس الأمن، قائلا إنه لم يأت بجديد.

وقال نتنياهو، إن الرئيس الفلسطيني “يواصل التهرب من عملية السلام”، مشيرا إلى استمرار السلطة الفلسطينية في دفع ملايين الدولارات لأسر القتلى الفلسطينيين.

وكان الرئيس قد دعا في وقت سابق من اليوم، لعقد مؤتمر دولي للسلام منتصف العام الحالي يستند لقرارات الشرعية الدولية، وبمشاركة واسعة تشمل الطرفين المعنيين، والأطراف الإقليمية والدولية.

وطالب بتطبيق مبادرة السلام العربية كما اعتمدت، وعقد اتفاق إقليمي عند التوصل لاتفاق للسلام بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين.

وشدد عباس على أن إسرائيل، “تتصرف كدولة فوق القانون الدولي، فقد حولت حالة الاحتلال المؤقتة وفق القانون الدولي إلى حالة استعمار استيطاني دائم.. وأغلقت جميع الأبواب أمام حل الدولتين”.
