غوتيريش: ملتزمون بحل الدولتين ولا توجد خطة بديلة

أعرب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، أنطونيو غوتيريش، الثلاثاء، عن التزام المنظمة الدولية بالعمل على حل الصراع الفلسطيني-الإسرائيلي على أساس حل الدولتين، مشددًا على عدم وجود خطة بديلة.

جاء ذلك خلال جلسة لمجلس الأمن الدولي بشأن القضية الفلسطينية، ما زالت منعقدة في نيويورك، بمشاركة الرئيس الفلسطيني، محمود عباس، ومستشار الرئيس الأمريكي وصهره، جاردي كوشنر، وممثلي الدول الأعضاء.

وقال غوتيريش، في إفادة له، إنه ملتزم شخصيا وكذلك الأمم المتحدة بـ “دعم جهود الطرفين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي الرامية إلى التوصل إلى حل قائم على وجود دولتين ديمقراطيتين، إسرائيل وفلسطين، تعيشان جنبًا إلى جنب في سلام داخل حدود آمنة ومعترف بها”.

والمفاوضات بين الجانبين متوقفة منذ أبريل/ نيسان 2014، جراء رفض إسرائيل وقف الاستيطان والقبول بحدود ما قبل حرب يونيو/ حزيران 1967 أساسًا لحل الدولتين.

وأضاف غوتيريش “ندعو إلى حل يتناول جميع قضايا الوضع النهائي، على أساس قرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة والقانون الدولي والاتفاقات المتبادلة، ولا توجد لدينا خطة باء (بديلة)”.

وأثار الرئيس الأمريكي، دونالد ترامب، في 6 ديسمبر/ كانون أول الماضي، غضبًا واسعًا باعتباره مدينة القدس (بشقيها الشرقي والغربي) عاصم مزعومة لإسرائيل، القوة القائمة باحتلال القدس الشرقية الفلسطينية منذ عام 1967.
